Synthesis Reports
The technical papers published under the synthesis paper section bring together findings from the individual country papers to provide a consolidated, cross-country perspective. These papers identify common themes, shared constraints and best practices across 10 regional clusters developed by GETSPA. The clustering of the countries in each synthesis reflects contiguity and shared characteristics such as social systems, colonial legacy, linguistic affinity as well as policy convergence within the framework of the regional economic communities (RECs). These papers offer a broader understanding of how social policies are fashioned and implemented within diverse contexts.
By integrating evidence from all participating countries, the synthesis reports support regional learning, promote harmonised approaches and guide stakeholders in designing more effective and equitable social policies.
