CALL FOR PROPOSALS

GETSPA is inviting proposals for papers on Promising Social Policy Initiatives in Africa.

The call seeks agenda-setting, policy-oriented papers that examine innovative social policy interventions, emerging challenges, and transformative alternatives shaping Africa’s development future. Areas of focus include Universal Basic Income (UBI), health systems, informal economies, climate transition policy, digital rights, youth mobilisation, resource sovereignty, and grassroots innovations.

Researchers are encouraged to critically engage African realities, policy processes, and transformative pathways that can advance gender-equitable social development across the continent.
